Heartbeats in Tempo

The Dance Lesson

past_003Commissioned by The Chamber Music Society of Mississauga, The Dance Lesson, with original music by composer Maria Molinari, was performed in May 2003 at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre.

Amazons, Sylphs and Other Sundry Wenches

DanceOntario’s Dance Weekend (January 2006)

Tangos d’Amour – four short ballets set to various pieces of tango music – was performed at the Premiere Dance Theatre at Harbourfront Centre. The Tangos d’Amour are a collection of dances that capture the spirit of the tango – the erotic, the exotic, and the entertaining – in the language of classical and contemporary ballet.

Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (January 2006)

As guest artists of the chamber orchestra Sinfonia Toronto, Ballet Espressivo presented Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, a new choreography by Donna Greenberg, performed by the corps of Ballet Espressivo. In celebration of Mozart’s birthday, Ms. Greenberg created a site-specific piece in the beautiful Walmer Road Baptist Church, which captures the fun and frolicsomeness as well as the elegance and beauty of this charming Mozart serenade.
